About The Position

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for an Outbound Router Supervisor at our Kearny, NJ Service Center. This is a Full-Time position with a yearly rate of $75,000/year. The role involves managing drivers and freight handlers, coordinating dock operations, ensuring safety and quality freight handling procedures, and timely dispatching of LTL Loads. PTO is available after the first 90 calendar days of employment.

Requirements

• Proven basic leadership experience
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment
• Strong Organizational / Communication/ and Logistical skills with solid problem-solving abilities
• Computer skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Knowledge of the City, and surrounding areas

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of quality freight handling
• Prior LTL leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Driver and Freight Handler Management
• Coordinate Dock Operation and Driver/Freight Handler scheduling
• Ensure Safety Compliance
• Ensure quality freight handling procedures are followed
• Timely dispatching of LTL Loads
• Other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager
