About The Position

Fast Lane Auto Care is seeking a Route Sales Representative to manage and expand an established customer base. This role involves visiting auto parts stores, tire shops, body shops, fleet accounts, and other professional clients who require automotive appearance products and industrial supplies. While prior sales experience is beneficial, comprehensive training will be provided to ensure success from the outset.

Requirements

  • Driven and organized, with the ability to manage a route and hit weekly targets independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer-focused with strong negotiation and service instincts
  • Comfortable traveling up to 80% of the time within the territory
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
  • Must pass a background check and drug test
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior sales experience is a plus but not required; we train the right person

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of an established territory and grow it through active prospecting and account development
  • Call on auto parts stores, dealerships, tire shops, body shops, fleet accounts, and other professional customers
  • Explain product features, applications, and benefits to prospects and current accounts
  • Deliver products safely and on schedule using a company-provided vehicle
  • Meet weekly sales targets set by management and track progress against goals
  • Review performance at the close of each day, week, and month to identify improvement opportunities
  • Promote positive working relationships with customers, vendors, and distributors
  • Comply with all transportation laws and maintain a safe, clean driving record
