About The Position
The Route Sales Representative covers an assigned route in Mission Valley, La Jolla, and Encinitas. The role places orders and merchandises products to help ensure they are available on grocery store shelves. The representative promotes new products, gains display space, maintains and rotates merchandise, and builds relationships with in-store contacts and coworkers. Daily work is completed using handheld technology and sales software, and the representative uses a personal vehicle for the route.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to safely lift 35 pounds and move frozen product using appropriate equipment.
- Ability to meet pre-employment background check and drug test requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Grocery experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Place orders and drive additional sales by gaining display space and promoting new products.
- Merchandise products, maintain display space, and rotate products.
