About The Position

The Route Sales Associate brings PepsiCo food brands such as Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos to local stores, keeping shelves stocked for consumers. The role drives a PepsiCo truck along an assigned route, delivers and checks in orders with store teams, unloads products, stocks shelves and displays, rotates inventory, places product orders, and maintains records using provided tools. The associate builds relationships with store managers to support sales, displays, and national and local initiatives. The position includes hands-on and classroom training. It is a fast-paced, hands-on job spent on the go for most of the day, involving lifting, bending, and moving product throughout the shift. The stated schedule is five workdays and two days off, with 50–55 hours per week. Start times range from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., depending on the route, and the end time is when the route is completed. The position is located in Salem, Virginia.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years old.
Have a valid driver's license with proof of insurance and the ability to obtain other licensures as required by state law.
Be able to frequently lift 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Drive a PepsiCo truck on an assigned route, serving local stores.
Deliver and check in orders with store teams, including collecting proof of delivery when needed.
Unload products, stock shelves and displays, and rotate inventory to maintain freshness and quality.
Order products and maintain records throughout the day using provided tools.
