Route Sales Associate
About The Position
The Route Sales Associate drives a PepsiCo truck on a route to serve local stores, delivering beloved brands such as Lay’s, Doritos, and Cheetos. The role includes checking in orders with store teams, unloading and stocking products, rotating inventory, ordering products, and maintaining records with provided tools. Associates build relationships with store managers to support sales, displays, and national and local initiatives. On-the-job training includes hands-on and classroom instruction. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role spent on the move for most of the day, with frequent lifting, bending, and moving product. The schedule is five days on and two days off, with days off varying by week; both weekend days and holidays are required. The stated schedule runs from 2:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a valid driver’s license with proof of insurance and the ability to obtain other licensures required by state law.
- Be able to frequently lift 40 lbs., with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Drive a PepsiCo truck on a route and serve local stores.
- Deliver and check in orders with store teams, including collecting proof of delivery when needed.
- Unload product, stock shelves and displays, and rotate inventory to maintain freshness and quality.
- Order product and maintain records throughout the day using provided tools.
- Build relationships with store managers to grow sales, secure displays, and execute national and local initiatives.
