Route Sales Associate - Foods
About The Position
The Route Sales Associate brings PepsiCo products, including Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos, to local stores and keeps shelves stocked. The associate drives a PepsiCo truck on an assigned route, delivers and checks in orders, unloads and merchandises products, manages inventory, and works with store managers to grow sales and execute initiatives. Hands-on and classroom training are provided. This is a full-time role based in Scott Depot (Poca), West Virginia. The schedule is five days worked and two days off, with 50–55 hours per week. Start times vary by route from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.; the workday ends when the route is complete. The position is fast-paced and hands-on, with frequent lifting, bending, and moving product throughout the shift.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance, and be able to obtain other licenses required by state law.
- Be able to frequently lift 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Drive a PepsiCo truck on a route and serve local stores.
- Deliver orders and check them in with store teams, including collecting proof of delivery when needed.
- Unload products, stock shelves and displays, and rotate inventory to maintain freshness and quality.
- Order products and maintain records throughout the day using provided tools; training is provided.
- Build relationships with store managers to grow sales, secure displays, and carry out national and local initiatives.
