Route Sales Associate
About The Position
Bring PepsiCo brands such as Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos to local communities by keeping store shelves stocked. This role drives a PepsiCo truck on an assigned route, delivers and checks in orders with store teams, unloads and stocks products, rotates inventory, places product orders, maintains records, and builds relationships with store managers to support sales and merchandising initiatives. Hands-on and classroom training are provided. The work is fast-paced and active, with most of the day spent on the go and regularly lifting, bending, and moving products. The position is based in Arlington Heights, Illinois. The target annual pay is $66,200. Work is scheduled five days per week, with start times varying between 4 and 6 a.m.; the end time depends on when the work is completed. Requirements
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Have a valid driver’s license with proof of insurance and the ability to obtain other licenses as required by state law.
- Be able to frequently lift 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Drive a PepsiCo truck on a route, serving local stores.
- Deliver and check in orders with store teams, including collecting proof of delivery when needed.
- Unload products, stock shelves and displays, and rotate inventory to ensure freshness and quality.
- Order products and maintain records throughout the day using provided tools.
- Build relationships with store managers to grow sales, secure displays, and execute national and local initiatives.
