About The Position

The Route Sales Associate brings PepsiCo brands such as Lay’s, Doritos, and Cheetos to local stores. The associate drives a PepsiCo truck on assigned routes, delivers and checks in orders, unloads and stocks products, and maintains product freshness and quality. The role involves ordering product, keeping records with provided tools, and building relationships with store managers to grow sales and support display and promotional initiatives. On-the-job training includes hands-on and classroom instruction. The work is fast-paced and hands-on, with most of the day spent on the move and involving lifting, bending, and moving product. The position is based in Paducah, Kentucky, and the associate serves as part of a relief pool covering vacations and leaves of absence. Availability is required any day Sunday through Saturday; days off rotate until a route is bid on and won, after which set days off apply. Start times range from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. depending on format and business needs, and end times vary according to route completion.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance and ability to obtain other licensures required by state law.
Ability to frequently lift 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be available to work any day of the week, Sunday through Saturday.

Responsibilities

Drive a PepsiCo truck on a route and serve local stores.
Deliver and check in orders with store teams, including collecting proof of delivery when needed.
Unload product, stock shelves and displays, and rotate inventory to ensure freshness and quality.
Order product and maintain records throughout the day using provided tools.
Build relationships with store managers to grow sales, secure displays, and execute national and local initiatives.
Cover vacations and leaves of absence as part of the relief pool.
