About The Position

Tarheel Linen Service, Inc. is seeking a Route Sales and Service Driver to pick up and deliver textile and disposable products to customers on an established route. This role involves frequent customer interaction with opportunities for sales and commission. The position is labor intensive, requiring loading, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50lbs, as well as reaching, squatting, and bending. Drivers will deliver products in various weather conditions.

Requirements

• Must have flexibility in hours (early morning start and finish in afternoon)
• Clean driving record required
• Pass the required background checks
• Pass the required drug test and physical capabilities test

Nice To Haves

• Prior route delivery experience within a service industry, helpful but not necessary

Responsibilities

• Position picks up and delivers textile and disposable products to customers on an established route
• Frequent interaction with customers, and sell products with commission opportunities
• This position is labor intensive, requiring loading, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50lbs
• It also requires reaching, squatting and bending while delivering products to the customers and delivering products across a wide variety of weather conditions
