About The Position

As a Route Sales/Service Driver for Laurel Linen Service, Inc., you will be responsible for picking up and delivering textile and disposable products to customers on an established route. This role involves frequent interaction with customers, identifying opportunities to sell additional products and services, and earning commission. The position is labor-intensive, requiring loading, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50lbs, as well as reaching, squatting, and bending while delivering products in various weather conditions. You will manage your established route and customers independently, with the benefit of being home every night as no overnight travel is required. Requirements

  • Must have flexibility in hours (early morning start and finish in afternoon)
  • Clean driving record required
  • Pass the required background checks
  • Pass the required drug test and physical capabilities test
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early morning starts and afternoon finishes
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Professional appearance and dependable work ethic
  • Ability to pass required background checks

  • Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position

Nice To Haves

  • Prior route delivery experience within a service industry, helpful but not necessary
  • Previous route delivery or service industry experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Pick up and deliver textile and disposable products to customers on an established route
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through excellent service
  • Interact with customers regularly and identify opportunities to sell additional products and services
  • Earn additional income through commission opportunities
  • Load, push, pull, and lift products weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Repeatedly reach, squat, bend, and maneuver products throughout the workday
  • Work outdoors and drive in a variety of weather conditions
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure customer orders are handled correctly
  • Represent the company professionally with every customer interaction
