About The Position

Responsibilities

Plan and optimize daily pickup routes based on customer locations, pickup volumes, service requirements, and operational priorities.
Coordinate daily driver schedules and route assignments.
Identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary mileage, minimize wasted time, improve driver productivity, and control transportation costs.
Monitor driver progress and route performance, review metrics, and follow up on delays, discrepancies, and route variances.
Support customer service by helping ensure pickups are completed efficiently while accounting for customer needs and changing operational requirements.
Maintain accurate records, analyze route performance, and communicate key information and improvement opportunities to management.
Adjust routes and schedules when challenges arise and develop practical solutions to keep operations moving.
Recommend process changes to improve routing, productivity, and transportation performance.
Complete data entry, respond to emails, maintain accurate information, and support other logistics-related activities.
