About The Position

Chadwell Supply is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and detail-minded Route Driver to transport products, goods, and materials between distribution facilities and route drivers. The role operates a box truck and requires safe driving, accurate and prompt deliveries, effective communication, and daily vehicle inspections. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, starting at 6:00 a.m. and continuing until the work is finished. The posting lists pay of $22.50 per hour based on verifiable driving experience, plus quarterly bonuses.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years old.
Be in good physical condition and capable of lifting more than 60 pounds, standing for extended periods, climbing steps and ladders, and bending, stooping, and carrying products up steps and stairs and down ramps and walkways.
Have a valid driver's license.
Have at least 1 year of prior box truck experience.

Responsibilities

Operate a box truck to transport products, goods, and materials from and between distribution facilities and route drivers.
Obey traffic signs and laws and account for road conditions when operating a motorized vehicle.
Provide excellent customer satisfaction through prompt and accurate product delivery and communication with company and customer personnel.
Inspect the delivery vehicle daily, including fluid levels, tire pressure, and tire condition.
