About The Position

Chadwell Supply is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and detail-minded Route Driver to operate a box truck and transport products, goods, and materials between distribution facilities and route drivers. The role focuses on safe vehicle operation and prompt, accurate deliveries that support customer satisfaction. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, beginning at 7:00 a.m. and continuing until work is finished. Weekends are not required.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must be in good physical condition and able to lift more than 60 pounds, stand for extended periods, climb steps and ladders, and bend, stoop, and carry products up steps and stairs and down ramps and walkways.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• At least 1 year of prior box truck experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a box truck to transport products, goods, and materials from and between distribution facilities and route drivers.
• Observe and comply with traffic signs, laws, and road conditions while operating a motorized vehicle.
• Provide excellent customer satisfaction through prompt and accurate product delivery and communication with company and customer personnel.
• Inspect the delivery vehicle daily, including fluid levels, tire pressure and condition, and general roadworthiness, to ensure it meets DOT requirements.
