About The Position

Trolley House Refreshments is hiring a Route Driver to maintain vending machines, Micro Markets, and/or coffee and water services on a fixed route. The role includes keeping equipment stocked and clean, providing professional and friendly customer service, visiting key accounts, promptly addressing customer needs and requests, responding to complaints, accurately recording inventory for the warehouse, and proactively resolving issues. The position requires early starts, independent work, teamwork, and lifting products weighing up to 50 pounds while loading and unloading a truck.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 5 a.m. and continuing until the end of the day, with a rotating Saturday schedule. Weekly pay is $900 during training; after training, compensation is commission based on sales from the built route.

Requirements

• Valid standard operator’s driver’s license; a CDL is not required.
• At least five years of safe driving experience.
• Ability to use smartphones and apps.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work early morning hours starting at 5 a.m., Monday through Friday, with a rotating weekend schedule.
• Ability to lift products up to 50 pounds while loading and unloading a truck.

Nice To Haves

• Previous route driving experience in vending or a similar field.
• Inventory or merchandising experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain working, well-stocked, and clean vending machines, Micro Markets, and/or coffee and water services on a fixed route.
• Enhance customer relations through professional and friendly customer service.
• Visit key accounts regularly and promptly address customer needs and requests.
• Respond to customer complaints as they arise.
• Accurately record inventory information and relay it to the warehouse.
• Be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
• Load and unload a truck, including lifting products up to 50 pounds.
