Route Driver
About The Position
First Choice Coffee Services is seeking a Route Driver to deliver pre-ordered products and equipment to customers along an assigned route and, when possible, sell additional products and services. The driver represents the company during customer visits and is expected to provide professional, courteous service while building relationships with customer contacts and decision-makers. The role includes loading orders at the warehouse, driving company-owned vans and trucks 30 to 100 miles per day, accurately delivering products and equipment to designated areas, responding to customer inquiries, and reconciling remaining vehicle inventory at the end of each workday. The position requires repeated lifting and carrying of products weighing up to 50 pounds and frequent climbing in and out of the delivery vehicle. A valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate must be obtained and maintained after successfully completing a DOT physical examination, as required for the position.
Requirements
- Have held a valid driver's license for at least two years.
- Repeatedly lift and carry coffee and bottled water products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to climb in and out of a delivery vehicle multiple times per day.
- Successfully complete and pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate, as required for the position.

Responsibilities
- Load customer orders at the warehouse for delivery.
- Drive company-owned vans and trucks 30 to 100 miles daily to transport products and equipment.
- Safely and accurately deliver orders to customer sites and place products and equipment in designated areas.
- Sell additional products and services to customers when possible.
- Build rapport and maintain relationships with customer contacts and decision-makers.
- Respond to customer inquiries about available products and services.
- Reconcile products remaining on the delivery vehicle at the end of the workday against products loaded at the beginning of the day to identify losses.
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers and members of the public.
