About The Position

PFD Supply, a wholly owned subsidiary of Prairie Farms Dairy, is hiring full-time Class A CDL Regional/Local Delivery Route Drivers at its St. Peters, Missouri location. Drivers deliver frozen, refrigerated, and dry food products to national restaurant accounts across regional destinations. Routes vary; most are two-day routes run twice a week. Drivers are home at least five nights in a seven-day week. The distribution facility delivers seven days a week, and drivers unload the products. The position pays $75,000–$85,000 annually, plus a $2,300 bonus program, with weekly pay and direct deposit. An excellent benefits package is included.

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
Qualified to operate a tractor-trailer.
Meet all Department of Transportation requirements.
Possess a good driving record.
Ability to operate trucks with 10-speed manual and automatic transmissions.

Responsibilities

Couple and uncouple trailers to and from the tractor.
Drive a tractor-trailer to deliver frozen, refrigerated, and dry food products to regional destinations.
Drive for moderate periods, up to six or more hours, in rural and city environments and under various road and weather conditions.
Unload products using a ramp and two-wheel dolly, and place products in customers’ freezers, coolers, or storage areas.
Rotate products as required.
Check delivered products against invoices to verify accurate delivery.
Record sales or delivery information on the daily route summary sheet.
Collect or pick up empty containers, rejected merchandise, or unsold merchandise.
Obtain or provide customer signatures on receipts for pickups or deliveries.
Rearrange the trailer load as needed.
Perform routine maintenance on the truck.
