About The Position

Johnson Brothers of Nebraska is seeking a CDL Delivery Driver to safely and accurately deliver beverage products to retail stores, restaurants, bars, and other customer locations while providing exceptional customer service. The role involves operating a commercial or other company vehicle in compliance with transportation regulations and company safety standards. Drivers load and unload products, inspect vehicles before and after routes, verify delivery orders and paperwork, and ensure products reach customers in excellent condition. The position has an early-morning start, with start times varying by route, and a Tuesday–Friday work week. Pay is $25.00 per hour for CDL A. Heavy, repetitive lifting is involved, including lifting up to 65 pounds repeatedly. The position is regular and full-time.

Requirements

Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Previous delivery driving experience.
Good driving record.
Ability to repeatedly lift up to 65 pounds.
Good knowledge of the surrounding area.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, stay self-managed, and meet deadlines.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company delivery vehicles in accordance with federal, state, and local transportation regulations and company safety standards.
Deliver products to customer locations according to established routes and schedules.
Load, unload, and transport cases, kegs, and related merchandise.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
Verify delivery orders, invoices, and other required documentation for accuracy.
Ensure products are delivered in excellent condition and placed according to customer requirements.
Collect signatures, complete delivery paperwork, and maintain accurate delivery records.
Provide professional and courteous customer service during customer interactions.
Communicate with supervisors and commercial team members about delivery status or issues.
Follow company safety procedures, including proper lifting, loading, and unloading techniques.
Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
Assist with warehouse, inventory, and other operational duties as assigned.
