About The Position

Chadwell Supply is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and detail-minded Route Driver to operate a box truck and transport products, goods, and materials between distribution facilities and route drivers. The role emphasizes safe vehicle operation, accurate and prompt deliveries, and excellent customer service. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, starting at 7:00 a.m. and working until completion. Weekends are not required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• At least 1 year of prior box truck experience is required.
• Must be in good physical condition and able to lift more than 60 pounds, stand for extended periods, climb steps and ladders, and bend, stoop, and carry products up steps and stairs and down ramps and walkways.

Responsibilities

• Operate a box truck to transport products, goods, and materials from and between distribution facilities and route drivers.
• Observe and comply with traffic signs, laws, and road conditions when operating a motorized vehicle.
• Provide excellent customer satisfaction through prompt and accurate product delivery and communication with company and customer personnel.
• Inspect the delivery vehicle daily, including fluid levels, tire pressure, tire condition, and general roadworthiness, to ensure it meets DOT requirements.
