About The Position

Chadwell Supply is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and detail-minded Route Driver to operate a box truck and transport products, goods, and materials between distribution facilities and route drivers. The position involves safe vehicle operation, daily vehicle inspections, and providing prompt, accurate deliveries and communication to support customer satisfaction.

This is a full-time Monday-through-Friday position, starting at 7:00 AM and continuing until route completion. No weekends are required. Pay starts at $23 per hour, based on verifiable driving experience, with performance-based bonuses.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Be in good physical condition and capable of lifting more than 60 pounds, standing for extended periods, climbing steps and ladders, and bending, stooping, and carrying products up steps and stairs and down ramps and walkways.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Have at least one year of box truck driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a box truck to transport products, goods, and materials between distribution facilities and route drivers.
• Observe and comply with traffic signs, laws, and road conditions while operating motorized vehicles.
• Provide prompt and accurate product deliveries and communicate with company and customer personnel to support customer satisfaction.
• Inspect the delivery vehicle daily, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure and condition, and general roadworthiness to ensure it meets DOT requirements.
