About The Position

Chadwell Supply is hiring an enthusiastic, energetic, and detail-minded Route Driver to operate a box truck and transport products, goods, and materials between distribution facilities and route drivers. The role focuses on safe vehicle operation and prompt, accurate deliveries that support customer satisfaction. This is a full-time, Monday-through-Friday position starting at 7:00 a.m. and continuing until work is finished, with 40 hours per week guaranteed, overtime opportunities, and no weekends.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• At least 1 year of prior box truck experience is required.
• Must be in good physical condition and able to lift more than 60 pounds, stand for extended periods, climb steps and ladders, and bend, stoop, and carry products up steps and stairs and down ramps and walkways.

Responsibilities

• Operate a box truck to transport products, goods, and materials from and between distribution facilities and route drivers.
• Observe and obey traffic signs, laws, and road conditions while operating a motorized vehicle.
• Provide excellent customer satisfaction through prompt and accurate product delivery and communication with company and customer personnel.
• Inspect the delivery vehicle daily, including fluid levels, tire pressure, tire condition, and general roadworthiness, to ensure it meets DOT requirements.
