About The Position

Southern Tire Mart is hiring a Route Driver. The role requires a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record, as well as the ability to tow a gooseneck trailer. Candidates must be able to lift and/or move tires weighing between 30 and 250 pounds, with or without mechanical assistance. The work involves repetitive and sustained exertions, forceful exertions, awkward postures, mechanical stress concentrations, and vibrations. Starting pay is based on experience.

Requirements

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to tow a gooseneck trailer.
• Must be able to lift and/or move tires weighing between 30 and 250 pounds, with or without mechanical assistance.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Work involves repetitive and sustained exertions, forceful exertions, awkward postures, mechanical stress concentrations, and vibrations.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with heavy-duty or commercial tires is preferred, but not required.
