About The Position

1-800-GOT-JUNK? is hiring Route Drivers / Truck Team Members for its Silicon Valley team. The role combines route driving, customer service, sales, moving, and general labor, with varied work throughout each shift. Team members drive a company vehicle between customer jobs, understand customers’ removal needs, explain pricing and service options, and remove unwanted items. They also sort items for recycling, donation, or disposal and stay in contact with dispatch when routes or appointments change.

The posting offers full-time and part-time scheduling and states average earnings of $25–$30+ per hour, including hourly pay, tips, and performance bonuses. Successful applicants are expected to hear back within 2–3 business days. 1-800-GOT-JUNK? is an at-will employer. Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered.

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older.
• Valid California driver's license.
• Acceptable driving history for the previous 3 years.
• Ability to safely lift and move items weighing 75+ lbs.
• Strong communication skills.
• Availability for at least one weekend day.
• Smartphone capable of running required company apps.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle between customer jobs.
• Meet homeowners and business customers and ask questions to understand what they need removed.
• Explain pricing and help customers choose the right service.
• Move and load furniture, appliances, and other unwanted items.
• Perform physical work that includes lifting items weighing 75+ lbs.
• Separate items for recycling, donation, or disposal.
• Stay in contact with dispatch as routes and appointments change.
• Help leave customers with a positive impression of the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? brand.
