ROUTE DRIVER - VENDING (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Canteen is hiring a full-time Route Driver - Vending in Paragould, Arkansas. The Route Driver operates a company vehicle along an established route to deliver products or provide services and fills and maintains vending and related equipment. As a representative of the company, the driver is expected to maintain a professional, positive image and build strong client and customer relationships. The role offers advancement opportunities that can provide a foundation for entry-level management positions. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Pay ranges from $23.75 to $30.00 per hour. All Canteen driving roles may include commission eligibility. Previous experience is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of driving experience.
- Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license, unless otherwise indicated by state.
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently.
- Ability to work independently and be responsible for the route while working unsupervised for 98% of the workday.
- Proficiency with a handheld computer, with training provided.
- Ability or willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment such as a box truck and handcarts.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience is preferred.
- Preferred 1–2 years of customer service experience, or at least 1 year of related experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
- Rotate products to ensure freshness at client locations.
- Provide client and customer satisfaction in all aspects of job performance.
- Inform clients and customers about new products or services, listen to service complaints, and resolve them.
- Set up merchandise and promotional displays or distribute promotional materials to customers.
- Account for received goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received or collected, and products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
