About The Position

Northern Haserot is seeking a Delivery Route Driver to transport and deliver products to multiple customers each day using a straight truck or tractor/trailer. The driver coordinates with customers, sales representatives, and other Northern Haserot personnel to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. This is an onsite position scheduled Monday through Friday, beginning at 6:00 AM and continuing until the route is complete.

Requirements

Possess a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License, or a Chauffeur's License for non-CDL work.
Have knowledge of DOT regulations, safe driving, hours-of-service requirements, and inspection and maintenance guidelines.
Meet or exceed U.S. Department of Transportation medical standards while carrying a CDL.
Meet the company's Motor Vehicle Record standards regarding violations.
Be able to push and pull up to 250 pounds frequently using a two-wheel dolly.
Be able to lift up to 90 pounds unassisted.
Be able to enter and exit the vehicle cab multiple times daily, climb into the truck from ground level as needed, regularly use the rear truck ramp with a two-wheel dolly, and navigate stairs, slim doorways, and hallways with products safely and efficiently.

Nice To Haves

Manual transmission experience; automatic transmission experience will also be considered.
Knowledge of trailer refrigeration and temperature guidelines.

Responsibilities

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Maintain a high level of safety while driving, loading, and unloading.
Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations.
Use knowledge and skills to maneuver commercial vehicles in various situations.
Organize paperwork and customer payments, and use RF scanners and Samsara software with attention to detail and delivery accuracy.
Maintain and foster strong relationships with customers as a representative of Northern Haserot.
