The Rough Rider Mentorship Teacher needs to work well with children of all ages, and be good with classroom management, and curriculum development as well as support the implementation of a multi-disciplinary after-school curriculum designed for K-12 students. Teachers work directly under the supervision of the Rough Rider Mentorship and College Readiness Program Director. Teachers facilitate hands-on projects, experiments, and workshops. The role requires a high level of energy and versatility, as teachers will move between diverse subject areas—including Science, Sociology, Technology, Trades, Engineering, Art, Acting, Allied Health, History, Humanities, Math, and Medicine (STEAHM)—to help students bridge academic gaps and explore career pathways.
