About The Position
We are seeking a dependable Roto Powder Handler to join our Rotational Molding team. The Roto Powder Handler is responsible for supplying production materials, assisting machine operators, maintaining a clean work area, and helping ensure efficient manufacturing operations. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in manufacturing, as no previous experience is required.
Requirements
- No previous manufacturing experience required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic reading and communication skills.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using weight measurements.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Dependable with a positive work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Scoop powder from material containers and accurately weigh specified amounts using a scale.
- Deliver materials to the molding platform for production.
- Verify powder color and material before supplying production equipment.
- Notify the powder room when material supplies are running low.
- Assist rotational molding operators and helpers with mold cleaning.
- Help move finished parts from molds to the assembly area.
- Keep powder containers covered according to production requirements.
- Prepare wool balls and remove chains from the spider as needed.
- Relieve machine operators and helpers during scheduled breaks.
- Replace worn containers when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the machine area, weigh station, and unloading station.
- Follow all company safety policies and quality standards.
