About The Position
The Powder Coat Painter is responsible for using electrostatic powder paint equipment to apply powder paint to metal products and other duties.
Requirements
- Familiarity with different types of coatings and their applications
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
- Experience with the maintenance and repair of paint equipment
- Ability to operate all paint equipment including paint ovens, spray washer, and paint pump equipment
- Checking work to identify quality and/or safety issues
Responsibilities
- Loading, unloading, hanging, and removing parts from carts
- Cleaning and prepping parts to ensure a quality paint finish
- Using forklift and hoists to move parts and materials
- Using other hand tools as needed
- Other duties as assigned
