About The Position

Playcraft Systems LLC is seeking a Roto Mold Trimmer to join their team. This role involves trimming excess plastic, inspecting products, assembling products according to work instructions, and selecting appropriate hand tools. The position requires adherence to time standards and quality expectations, accurate documentation of work, and the ability to make routine decisions and solve basic manufacturing issues. The trimmer must also ensure compliance with safety standards and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Able to maintain a reliable and consistent attendance record
  • Able to multi-task and rotate to other positions and/or departments, as needed
  • Push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to twist, turn, extend, pivot, duck, crawl, climb, crouch, bend, stoop, carry, and walk briskly
  • Must be a team player and work well in a team environment
  • Must be able to maintain continual improvement
  • Work in a hot environment and stand for up to 8-10 hours a day
  • Mandatory OT as needed to meet production schedules and goals
  • High attention to detail
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Make routing decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance
  • Report and document basic material, production and quality control issues
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with overhead crane use is desired
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change
  • Work in an efficient and timely manner
  • Aptitude to take orders and execute the same efficiency
  • Demonstrated detail orientation, seld-motivation skills and ability to multi task

Responsibilities

  • Trim excess plastic from parting lines
  • Inspect product and communicate findings back to the supervisor
  • Assembly product in accordance with the specific work instruction
  • Select correct hand tools for the job task with setup documents or supervisor/lead assistance
  • Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations
  • Account for time and work completed via written documents
  • Make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance
  • Report and document basic material, production and quality control issues
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards
  • Other duties as assigned
