Rotational Field Service Technician

About The Position

This role involves traveling to customer sites to install, commission, test, calibrate, and train customers on the safe and proper operation of NOV products. The technician will also conduct field installations and calibrations of sensors and systems, perform field upgrades of software and hardware, and communicate field failures and feedback reports to the appropriate departments. Responsibilities also include billing, inventory, paperwork, and timely submission of field service documentation.

Requirements

• AA Degree and/or equivalent experience with 2+ years of technical experience preferred
• Willing to travel over 75% of the time
• Work schedule is 10 days on, 4 days off for local technicians
• Work schedule is 14 days on, 14 days off for rotational technicians
• Willing to work 12+ hours daily during your schedule
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of oil and gas field components, including software and hardware
• Willing to be on call
• Electrical background preferred
• All applicants must pass a background check, driving record check, and drug screening.
