The Rotational Engineering Co-Op Program is designed to give students a comprehensive, hands-on experience across multiple facets of automation and control engineering. Over 18–24 months, participants rotate through three core areas: (1) Panel Shop & Field Services (2) Applications Projects & Upgrades (3) Advanced Automation Services, building expertise in hardware, electrical systems, software, and field engineering. Each rotation offers immersive learning opportunities, blending technical training with real-world problem-solving in both shop and customer environments. By the end of the program, students will have enhanced their technical proficiency, collaborated with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and engaged in activities such as system commissioning, cybersecurity enhancements, and modernization of legacy systems. This experience not only develops engineering skills but also strengthens communication, leadership, and customer-facing capabilities. Successful participants may be offered a full-time role aligned with their strengths and career aspirations, making this program an ideal launchpad for a future in industrial automation.
