About The Position

The Rotational Development Program (RDP) at Flexport is an 18-month program designed to build operational and technical skills essential for global trade. Participants will engage in live, revenue-generating work across three different functions, with continuous AI/low-code curriculum. The program aims to equip individuals with supply chain fluency combined with the ability to build and automate, a skill set not commonly found at scale in the market. Graduates will receive a certification in AI and low-code tooling, alongside operational and commercial training, and will be placed in roles such as Account Management, Automation Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering/Consulting, Sales Engineering, or a traditional Ops/Sales/Customs track.

Requirements

On track to graduate, or recently graduated, and want to build a career at the intersection of supply chain operations and technology.
Genuinely curious about AI and low-code tooling and want to build real fluency.
Ability to operate with minimal supervision.
Ability to prioritize a high volume of work.
Ability to communicate clearly under pressure.
A "compliance-first" mindset, understanding the importance of operating in a heavily regulated industry.

Responsibilities

Own the shipment lifecycle in Gateway Ops (Air or Ocean), including executing bookings, managing exceptions, and ensuring data integrity.
Become a global trade expert by navigating customs regulations to ensure goods comply with international laws.
Engage in applied technical work such as SQL, workflow automation, and Lean process improvement.
Take on go-to-market work and build client-facing skills in Sales / Account Management.
Identify a real business problem within a rotation and build the tooling or process fix to solve it as a capstone project.
Participate in structured coursework for automation and reporting skills.
Hold data integrity to Flexport's standard.
