About The Position
The Rope Access Level I Technician performs visual inspections using rope access under the direction of a Project Manager or Team Leader, or independently. The role requires moderate experience and Level I Rope Access certification. The position is on-site in Houston, Texas. The incumbent must be able to meet the mental and physical requirements of the work.
Requirements
- Current SPRAT/IRATA Level I certification.
- Valid TWIC card.
- Ability to pass a physical exam.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Nice To Haves
- ASNT Level II certification.
- Valid driver's license and reliable driving record.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a climbing logbook in accordance with SPRAT/IRATA guidelines.
- Prepare NDE reports and document data clearly and promptly.
- Interface with clients on technical matters involving Rope Access and NDE procedures and capabilities.
- Maintain open communication with coworkers, clients, and subcontractors.
- Organize and report test results and send information to the office for data processing.
- Keep up with technology advancements in the NDE and Rope Access industries.
- Provide clear technical guidance to other technicians and subcontractors.
- Solve technical issues in the field.
