About The Position

We are looking for a highly motivated, customer focused Room Service Runner to join our team! Room Service is responsible for taking guests’ orders over the phone and delivering food & beverage to guest rooms. They are responsible for ensuring accurate food orders as well as timely delivery. If making meaningful connections, figuring out what it takes and stepping it up to win the day is what you do, and you love it, we want you! Requirements

Ability to learn menus, table numbers, seat positions, and service standards.
Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Previous restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain constant communication with culinary and service colleagues.
Verify table number, seat number, menu item, modifications, and accompaniments before leaving the kitchen.
Deliver food promptly to the correct guest and position.
Announce dishes professionally when appropriate.
Ensure required condiments, sauces, utensils, and accompaniments are delivered with each item.
Maintain knowledge of menu ingredients and common allergens sufficient to safely perform the role.
Never guess when asked an allergy or ingredient question; obtain assistance from the appropriate colleague.
Inspect plates for obvious presentation or accuracy issues before delivery.
Immediately communicate missing, incorrect, delayed, or compromised items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of expo and food-running areas.
Assist with table maintenance, clearing, resetting, water service, and other service functions when operationally necessary.
Follow food-safety requirements when transporting and handling food.
Support all designated Food & Beverage outlets as assigned based on business needs.
Perform opening, running, and closing side work.
Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
