Requirements

At least two years of prior service experience, ideally within a four or five star hotel environment.
Ability to communicate clearly.
Ability to stay patient under pressure.
Ability to approach every situation with tact and professionalism.
Comfortable reading instructions.
Ability to perform basic math.
Ability to speak confidently with guests.
Understanding the rhythm of lifestyle hotels and premium dining.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination.
Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
Mindfulness of confidentiality and respectful communication.
Ability to listen, learn, grow, and take initiative to help wherever needed.

Responsibilities

Picking up orders with precision, ensuring each tray is complete, warm, and beautifully presented before delivering it to guests with grace and confidence.
Entering each room ready to serve with warmth, attentiveness, and a genuine desire to exceed expectations.
Answering questions about menu items, assisting with wine selections, or helping guests navigate the property.
Setting up and breaking down tables and trays.
Polishing glassware and silverware until it gleams.
Stocking linens and condiments.
Keeping side stations organized and ready for action.
Taking phone orders with clarity and personality.
Communicating seamlessly with the kitchen and other departments.
Ensuring every step of service is delivered with professionalism and care.
Following strict safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
Delivering amenities to VIP suites.
Resolving a guest concern.
Offering directions with a friendly escort.
Taking part in meetings, contributing ideas, and learning about new programs.
