About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays or food items safely.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills daily to manage multiple orders efficiently and ensure timely delivery.
  • Effective communication skills are essential for coordinating with kitchen staff and responding to guest needs professionally.
  • Physical stamina and attention to detail are critical for handling food safely and maintaining presentation standards during transport.
  • Customer service skills are applied continuously to create a positive guest experience through courteous and attentive interactions.
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols ensures compliance with health regulations and supports the hotel's reputation for quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and verify room service orders from the kitchen and room service team to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms promptly while maintaining proper temperature and presentation standards.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and room service attendants to coordinate order preparation and delivery times.
  • Assist in setting up trays and ensuring all necessary condiments, utensils, and accompaniments are included with each order.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of food delivery carts and service areas in compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Respond courteously to guest inquiries or requests related to room service delivery and escalate any issues to supervisors as needed.
  • Adhere to hotel policies and procedures regarding food handling, hygiene, and guest privacy at all times.
