As a Room Service Attendant, you will be a part of a cohesive team that strives to achieve premier patient food services. You will provide patients with their meal trays, helping them open their food and beverage if needed, and providing excellent customer service. You will support patient services which does include cross training to the dish room in order to suit the needs of the business when we are busy, have call offs and or vacations to cover. You may also help with providing patient menus and meal requests, and collaborate together with Nutrition Techs and Dietetic Technicians. This is a full time position and shifts worked during the week include 6:30 am-3 pm and 11:30 am-8 pm and does include weekends (every 3rd weekend off). You will enjoy an additional $1/hour flat rate weekend differential for all hours worked on the weekend. Banner offers free uniforms including one pair of shoes yearly. Our inpatient medical oncology unit also incorporates a program that utilizes the electronic surveillance partnership in caring for the patient, where remote nurses have the ability to interact with patients via two-way audio-video to assist the bedside nurse with patient care. This position provides patients with menu and/or patient meal service, receives and forwards patient requests and communication to Dietetic Technicians and Dietitians when appropriate. Provides patient meal assembly according to correct quantities. This position strives to provide patient satisfaction regarding food and nutrition services.
