The Room Dining Expeditor is responsible for completing closing duties, which include storing reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing the daily cleaning checklist. This role involves setting up, stocking, and maintaining work areas, as well as inspecting the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver prior to use. The position requires maintaining cleanliness of work areas throughout the day by practicing clean-as-you-go procedures. Additionally, the Room Dining Expeditor must follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions, and complete safety training and certifications. Ensuring a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information, and protecting company assets are also key responsibilities. The role involves welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards, speaking with clear and professional language, and answering telephones with appropriate etiquette. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and responding appropriately to employee concerns are essential. The position also requires ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards, reading and visually verifying information in various formats, and performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors. Physical requirements include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance, grasping, turning, and manipulating objects with fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, and reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
