About The Position

National Star Services, a 28-year-old facility management company with nationwide services, is seeking a Room Attendant/Kitchen Steward for its Oak Brook, IL 60523 location. This role involves responsibilities for both room cleaning and kitchen support.

Requirements

Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Must have two valid forms of IDs.
Own transportation to get to work on time.
Must be able to start working as soon as possible.

Nice To Haves

Experience with housekeeping, room cleaning, kitchen sanitation, or related hospitality services preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize toilets, showers, and sinks.
Sweep and mop floors, and vacuum carpets.
Strip used bed linens, sanitize mattresses, and neatly make beds with fresh linens.
Refill empty dispensers with shampoo, lotion, and soap. Restock coffee, glasses, and minibar items.
Prepare and load cleaning carts with fresh towels, linens, and cleaning supplies at the start of each shift.
Wash all dishes, pots, pans, and cutlery by hand or using industrial dishwashers.
Scrub and sanitize food prep surfaces, sinks, ovens, and grills to prevent germs.
Restock clean plates and tools for the chefs so they do not run out during a busy shift.
Take out the trash and organize recycling bins.
Provide kitchen support, as required by Chef or Supervisor.
