About The Position

Courtyard Fort Worth Alliance Airport is hiring for a Room Attendant. This role is for individuals who believe that cleanliness, comfort, and care are essential to every great hotel experience, and that a beautifully prepared guest room can make someone feel welcomed, relaxed, and at home. The ideal candidate understands that details matter, from crisp linens and sparkling bathrooms to thoughtful finishing touches, and that every guest deserves a clean, safe, and comfortable place to rest. Teamwork between Housekeeping, Front Office, Maintenance, and leadership is crucial for smooth hotel operations. Consistency and pride in work can turn an ordinary stay into an unmatched experience, and the work guests may not always see is often the work they appreciate most.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of guestroom cleaning standards and safe cleaning procedures preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to follow cleaning assignments, safety instructions, and hotel procedures.
• Ability to organize work and manage time effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate professionally with guests, Curators, and leaders.
• Ability to safely use cleaning products, supplies, and equipment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred, but not required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to bend, reach, twist, kneel, crouch, and move repeatedly while cleaning guest rooms.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull linens, supplies, trash, cleaning equipment, and guestroom furnishings.
• Ability to lift or move up to 40 pounds frequently.
• Ability to push and pull a fully stocked housekeeping cart.
• Ability to make beds and clean guest rooms within established productivity and quality standards.
• Ability to use cleaning products and equipment safely and according to procedures.
• Ability to work in guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, storage rooms, laundry areas, and other hotel spaces.
• Ability to work around dust, cleaning products, varying temperatures, and repetitive physical activity.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and attention to detail in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Creating clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms.
• Making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing guestroom surfaces.
• Cleaning bathrooms thoroughly and replacing towels, toiletries, and other amenities.
• Following hotel and brand standards so every room is prepared consistently.
• Organizing assignments and completing rooms efficiently without sacrificing quality.
• Restocking housekeeping cart and keeping supplies clean, organized, and ready for the day.
• Responding courteously to guest requests and helping guests feel cared for.
• Communicating room status, maintenance needs, lost-and-found items, damages, and safety concerns promptly.
• Protecting guest belongings, privacy, and confidential information.
• Following proper procedures for occupied rooms, vacant rooms, stayover service, and rooms with special requests.
• Helping clean hallways, public spaces, storage areas, and other hotel areas when needed.
• Supporting fellow Curators when the hotel is busy or priorities change.
• Taking pride in those final details that let a guest know their room was prepared with care.
