About The Position

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Portland is proudly managed by StepStone Hospitality, a leading hospitality management company committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences and supporting team member growth. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. This role is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and inviting guest rooms while ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards
  • Change linens, make beds, and replenish amenities
  • Clean bathrooms, vacuum, dust, and sanitize all surfaces
  • Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
  • Ensure carts and storage areas are organized and stocked
  • Respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies
