About The Position

The Room Attendant cleans and services guest rooms to provide guests with a pleasant and comfortable experience. This role also includes cleaning public areas, maintaining guest-room supplies and safety, reporting maintenance needs, and updating room status. Candidates need a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent and experience in customer service, guest-facing work, or cleaning in a customer-focused environment. Prior room-attendant experience in hospitality is preferred. A pre-employment background check is required.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and respond to requests.
• Maintain a healthy and safe environment in guest rooms.
• Change bed linen and make beds.
• Replace used towels and bathroom amenities, such as shampoo and soap.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Vacuum carpets.
• Dust and polish furniture.
• Empty trash containers.
• Clean public areas, such as corridors.
• Report technical issues and maintenance needs.
• Update guest-room status on the assignment board.
• Restock the cleaning cart and/or supplies.
• Follow health and safety rules.
• Attend meetings as required.
