About The Position

A reliable and friendly Room Attendant will provide superb customer service to our guests. Your duties will include ensuring that assigned rooms are fully stocked, cleaned, and serviced to a high standard. You should also be able to resolve guest complaints and queries promptly and in a polite manner. To be a successful Room Attendant, you must be honest, organized, dependable and have detailed knowledge of, and comply with, all housekeeping policies, procedures, and be passionate about creating and tidy spaces with a great can-do attitude!

Requirements

• Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.

• Must be able to occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb.
• Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, cleaning, and stooping.
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness of guest rooms and deep cleaning rooms on a daily basis.
• Ensure all linen is changed on a daily basis.
• Remove all linen and trash from the room.
• Clean bathrooms and disinfect them.
• Replace all used amenities after every guest departure.
• Prepare beds with linen, ensuring linen is free of stains and/or rips.
• Report any defects in a guest room and/or throughout the hotel.
• Vacuum every room.
• Sweep and mop daily.
• Understand and know property amenities.
• Assist guests as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
