About The Position
The Room Attendant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our guest rooms and suites. This role involves cleaning rooms/suites as assigned by a supervisor, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and customer service. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, vacuuming, changing linens, making beds, and cleaning bathrooms. The Room Attendant will also report any discrepancies or maintenance problems to the supervisor and provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to guest requests. This position requires working typical shifts that include weekends and holidays when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel setting or open to training.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Able to work alone or as part of a team.
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
- Can navigate a cart weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Can lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Engaging personality.
- Weekend availability required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms and suites.
- Clean rooms/suites as assigned by supervisor ensuring quality of cleanliness and customer service.
- Clean floors, vacuum, change linens, make beds, and clean bathrooms.
- Report discrepancies and maintenance problems to supervisor.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests.
