Hotel Room Attendant - TownePlace Suites Latham
About The Position
We are looking for Full-Time and Part-Time Room Attendants to join our great Team! We’re centrally located to Saratoga Race Course, RPI, SUNY Albany and Siena College and Downtown Albany is only 10 miles south. There are 114 pet friendly rooms consisting of studio, 1- and 2-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens, free Wi-Fi and smart TV’s. An indoor heated pool and fitness center are also available with safety restrictions in place. The TownePlace Suites Latham is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates. A Room Attendant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our guest rooms and suites.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel setting or open to training.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Able to work alone or as part of a team.
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
- Can navigate a cart weighing up to 100 lbs., and lift, carry up to 25 lbs.
- An engaging personality.
- Weekend availability.
Responsibilities
- Clean rooms/suites as assigned by supervisor ensuring quality of cleanliness and customer service. This includes cleaning floors, vacuuming, changing linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms.
- Reporting discrepancies and maintenance problems to supervisor.
- Providing excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests.
- Working typical shifts that include weekends and holidays when required.
