About The Position

Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and take pride in creating clean and welcoming spaces? The Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center is seeking a hardworking Room Attendant / Room Inspector to join our housekeeping team. In this full-time, year-round role, you’ll play a key part in delivering a comfortable and enjoyable stay for our guests. From cleaning guest rooms to inspecting them for quality and consistency, your work will directly impact the guest experience. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has a strong eye for detail, and takes pride in ensuring every space meets the highest standards. Requirements

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify cleanliness and presentation issues
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Good time management and organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards
Change linens, make beds, and replenish towels and amenities
Clean bathrooms, floors, and surfaces thoroughly
Inspect cleaned rooms to ensure they meet company cleanliness and presentation standards
Identify and correct any deficiencies prior to guest arrival
Report maintenance issues or damaged items promptly
Maintain cleanliness of hallways, storage areas, and housekeeping spaces
Ensure housekeeping carts and supplies are stocked and organized
Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleaning protocols
Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to meet daily room quotas and quality expectations
