About The Position

Advanced Roofing, Inc. is seeking a Roofing Service Technician responsible for locating leaks and performing professional quality roof repairs in a safe and timely manner. This role also involves completing defined scope projects and preventative maintenance activities. The technician must have knowledge of all roof systems, including B.U.R, Modified Bitumen, EPDM, TPO/PVC Membranes, Tile, Shingles, Coating, and Metal Roofs. The company is an employee-owned business with a strong focus on quality, customer service, and community involvement.

Requirements

3-5 years commercial roofing service technician experience required.
Minimum 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
Successful Pre-Employment Drug and Agility tests.
Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tall.
Ability to lift 100 LBS or more.
Successful Background Check.
Ability to withstand demands of extreme weather conditions and high temperatures.
Capable of bending over most of the day and working on knees excessively throughout the day.
Able to pass a government background check per project requirements.
Knowledge of basic roofing tools.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

Locating leaks and performing professional quality roof repairs in a safe and timely manner.
Treating customers and fellow employees with courtesy and respect.
Completion of defined scope projects and preventative maintenance activities.
Assisting in the operation and maintenance of all company issued equipment such as: vehicles, power tools, phones, hand tools, etc.
Maintain trucks to ensure they are always stocked and cleaned inside and out.
Utilize industry standard manufacturer approved repair techniques.
Complete daily assignments in a timely manner with completion of proper paperwork.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
