About The Position

Baker Roofing Company is hiring a Roofing Laborer to assist Roofers and Foremen in preparing job sites and installing roofing systems. The work may involve metal, shingles, single-ply systems (TPO, PVC, and EPDM), slate, asphalt, aluminum, wood, and related materials. The position offers hands-on experience and opportunities to develop industry skills and progress into roles such as Roofer and Foreman. Requirements

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• General construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare job sites and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Remove debris from roofs and surrounding work areas.
• Assist with installing insulation, vapor barriers, and roofing materials.
• Assist with installing and repairing roofing systems using metal, shingles, slate, asphalt, aluminum, wood, and single-ply systems.
• Apply adhesives, sealants, caulking, and roofing cement as needed.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, vehicles, and other job-related equipment.
• Follow company safety procedures and identify potential hazards.
• Collaborate with crew members to complete projects on schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
