About The Position

This position is responsible for performing a variety of roofing tasks, including installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems. The role involves working with various roofing materials and ensuring the structural integrity and weatherproofing of buildings. This is a full-time position within the Maintenance Department.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in commercial and residential roofing.
• Valid Nevada Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of roofing materials, tools, and techniques.
• Understanding of safety regulations related to roofing work.

Nice To Haves

• OSHA 30-hour certification.
• Experience with single-ply roofing systems (e.g., TPO, EPDM, PVC).
• Experience with asphalt shingles and built-up roofing systems.
• Knowledge of building codes and standards related to roofing.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems on various types of buildings.
• Inspect roofs to identify damage, leaks, or potential issues.
• Prepare roofing surfaces for installation or repair.
• Apply roofing materials such as shingles, membranes, and coatings.
• Ensure proper sealing and waterproofing of roofs.
• Operate and maintain roofing equipment and tools.
• Adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff as needed.
• Maintain records of work performed and materials used.
