About The Position

McKee Door Sales of Columbus Inc. is looking for a Rolling & Sectional Door Installation Technician who doesn’t mind working with their hands, working at heights, and getting the job done right. You’ll install rolling and sectional doors, dock equipment, and operators that keep businesses running. If you like solving problems, working with tools, and taking pride in what you build, keep reading. McKee Door conducts driving record checks, background screenings, and drug testing. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of these reports with no issues.

Requirements

• 1+ year of installation or construction experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record (no DUIs, <3 points)
• Can lift up to 100 lbs and work at heights
• Comfortable working outside in the elements
• Know your way around a tape measure and some basic math
• Can pass a drug screen and background check
• Willing to learn and grow with a team that’s got your back

Responsibilities

• Install commercial doors, operators, and dock gear
• Double-check site conditions to make sure everything’s safe and ready
• Talk with superintendents, managers, or building owners
• Handle some light framing or adjustments when needed
• Keep your truck stocked and tools ready to roll
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and tape measures
• Take safety seriously; toolbox talks are part of the gig
• Keep the team updated on progress, issues, or when something’s in your way
