About The Position

B&B Manufacturing, LLC., a Solve IMG company, produces and distributes custom and standard synchronous drive products, including timing belts, timing belt pulleys, roller chain sprockets, gears, and related parts for the power transmission and precision mechanical component industries. The company supplies distributors and manufacturers with thousands of components.

Reporting to the Sr. Ops. Manager, the Roller Operator presses and checks components according to engineering and quality standards and customer requirements. Working in tandem with Assemblers, the Operator helps ensure production levels are met while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. The role suits someone with strong communication skills who enjoys a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of machine operation work experience.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Ability to use calipers and dial indicators.

Responsibilities

• Actively administer job plans and procedures.
• Operate and assist with best operating practices for use of MHE.
• Utilize measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Apply an understanding of measurements, drawings, and their corresponding applications.
• Produce high-quality product in line with set hourly metrics.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot the assigned machine.
• Perform work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
